The theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2012 has been announced as ‘We’re better without bullying‘, and aims to shine a light on how bullying undermines young people’s achievement, whether it be at school, in sport or in all manner of other extra-curricular activities that children should be free to enjoy.
Anti-Bullying Week this year runs from 19th to 23rd November and provides an excellent opportunity for school, colleges, and young peoples clubs and organisations to take a stand against bullying in all its forms.
To mark Anti-Bullying Week we are holding a competition encouraging children and young people to create a visual statement that makes it clear that bullying is not accepted. This can be a poster or a flyer. Please send your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org or to Vine House, Harlington Road, Hillingdon, Middx, UB8 3HD and we will pick a winner and announce on our website during Anti-Bullying Week. The prize for the winner will be for their artwork to be displayed at Autism’s got Talent on May 11th and a family ticket to see the show.
The competition is open NOW so start designing! – the closing date for entries is 5th November 2012.
