‘What about my Sons?’ is a documentary about one woman’s struggle to educate her autistic sons.
This 20 minute television documentary is being made for a Being created for a Masters final project and covers the struggles Anna Kennedy has endured and challenges she has faced to gain equal educational rights for her sons.
The documentary will look at the awareness of autism since Hillingdon Manor School opened its doors 12 years ago, and the recent opening of Baston House School, to show what started as one woman’s love for her two sons soon turned into one woman changing the lives of many autistic children.
This blog will track the creation of the documentary where photographs and video snippets will be shown in advance of the final documentary. Over the coming months we’ll keep you up to date with Anna’s work and tell you more about Anna as she continues her battles to support everyone affected by autism. Stay tuned!
